Winter: will it ever end?
When I found out I was pregnant, I was just 19 and thought for sure my life was over. I was embarrassed, had no idea what I was doing, and didn’t think I had maternal instincts to be a mother. Blair came into our world and formed our own little family, and we somehow kept her alive one day at a time. She has grown into the most beautiful, smart, intuitive, athletic, responsible, funniest girl you’ll ever meet. We are so proud of the woman she is becoming. Blair Forehan you are our angel from heaven and we just love you beyond measure.

Lots of new faces around here so I thought I’d re introduce myself! I’m Victoria, mom, wife, and interior designer for almost 10 years now. I met my husband when I was just 18 and knew I would marry him the second I laid eyes on him. We have built a beautiful life together and have had endless amounts of adventure along the way! When we aren’t remodeling, building, or designing (your home or ours!) we are likely on a lacrosse field with our kids, wrangling the dogs, or cooking up a storm for 20 people in our kitchen. We absolutely insist on enjoying life. Moving to TN has been our greatest adventure yet and it’s only just getting started!

WE BOUGHT A HACIENDA!!!
Beyond excited to finally be able share the most exciting news ever!! It was very unexpected but we also just knew this was OUR home. The stars aligned and it just all happened so quickly! It actually hurts thinking about leaving our current home that we built from the ground and spent blood, sweat, and tears into. We will miss it SO much. But also just feels like fate moving into this new chapter of our ever changing lives. Here’s to making new memories and of course...a new project!! And don’t worry, we’re just moving down the street 😉

Funny story- this vanity was supposed to be a muddy creamy beige, but it accidentally was painted white but now I see it as a happy accident. Also, the tile install crew asked me about 40 times if I was sure I wanted the blue tile from floor to ceiling AND wrapped all through the shower? Yes. Always yes.

Hi!! This is super uncomfortable for me but I’m doing it anyway! Cause that’s how we grow, right? I’m Victoria Forehan, mother of two, wife to a man that still gives me butterflies, lead designer at Victoria Forehan Design, and head bitch in charge at Forehan Home. I’m 31 years old, I don’t drink, don’t like mushrooms, and don’t want any more kids. My journey with interiors began (although I believe it’s been within me forever) when my contractor husband began recommending me to his clients to help them make decisions. He saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. I did that for years with him and once we purchased our own home to completely tear down and re-build, my passion was finally being fed in ways I didn’t know I needed. It wasn’t just me on Pinterest anymore, dreaming. It became reality. (Manifestation is real, folks) Made a lot of mistakes, learned a LOT. People started soliciting my advice and then actually started paying me!! Walking through fears is the most uncomfortable thing in life and makes me want to run in the opposite direction and I hate hate hate doing it. But it’s also the only thing that creates growth and has got me where I am today. Running an interior design business, launching an e-commerce site (holy shit), momming, and wife-ing. Walking through fears. Trusting the process. And the biggest thing for me- not worrying about what others think of me. Cause that’s none of my business, right?
